Your insightful critique reminds me of H.L. Mencken who reportedly said "For every complex problem, there is an answer that is clear, simple and wrong." Desiree's ideas aren't bad -- as you said, they have been repeated elsewhere and endlessly. But, I agree with you: some of her supporting assertions seem off the mark. That being said, she is better off today than she was previously.
