We don’t base our recommendations on sectors or any other criteria except price performance although we don’t include energy or utilities (too much government interference in price) or consumer counter-cyclicals (running against the very momentum we are trying to capture). FYI, we seem to do better in those years when the S&P 500 is weak or down.
