Jared is making choices. He has assessed his situation and is acting in what he thinks is his best interests. He isn't saying that he won't ever change his mind. But, for the time being, he is comfortable with his approach to his finances. Would that other people would be as thoughtful and self-aware of their finances as Jared is.
