If I were a woman, I would consider the question of "who pays" as a threshold issue: can he afford it? If he can't, then I wouldn't be interested (because I would not be looking for a financial dependent; I have children for that). If he can but won't, then I would not be interested as it reflects cheapness. Y.L., stand your ground.
