Ed, as usual, has something interesting to say. While not a lot is clear in Afghanistan, it does seem that the Afghani is on its way to being worthless. An underground economy will inevitably emerge perhaps using a crypto-currency. It may well be that Afghanistan becomes the ultimate exemplar of a failure of fiat currency.
