Colin Woodward's recent book "American Nations: A History of the Eleven Rival Regional Cultures of North America" explores these ideas from a cultural and historical perspective. You're not wrong to see the differences among us (Americans) but it's hard see a compelling, broad-based political case for abandoning the US Constitution and the current structure of government. In fact, Tinyism, as you describe it, implies a surrender of power and I just don't see that happening.
