As a passive investor, are you confident that you can examine these indicia of value and select stocks that will increase in price over time? I'm not! After all, I'm no Warren Buffett. I prefer to buy stocks that have gone up consistently over very long periods of time. If I don't catch the wave at the beginning, I'm ok with that.
